Two houseboats caught fire in a marina at Lake Union Wednesday afternoon.
Seattle firefighters said the fire spread to an adjacent building, King5 reported.
The two-alarm fire was brought under control quickly.
A 17-year-old dog, Gus, perished in the fire.
There was no spill involved.
